The rules for browsing Lumiri GameDB and for member accounts.
These terms apply when you use Lumiri GameDB, with or without an account. By creating an account you accept them. They do not limit rights you have under mandatory consumer law. How personal data is handled is described in Privacy & cookies.
The service
Lumiri GameDB is a free game database with prices, ratings, player statistics and member libraries. It is a public beta: features can change, pause or be removed, and the service can be unavailable during maintenance.
Game information, prices and statistics are observations from external sources at a stated time. They can be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Always check the current price and terms in the store before you buy. Lumiri GameDB does not sell games and is not affiliated with the stores or publishers listed; see About & commercial disclosures.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. One person may hold one account. Keep your password private and use one that is unique to GameDB; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Linking a game store, such as Steam, is optional. GameDB never asks for your store password. The store's own terms continue to apply to your store account.
You can delete your account at any time under Account → Delete account. Deletion removes your profile, library, ratings and connections as described in Privacy & cookies.
What you publish
Your display name, handle, profile text, featured game and ratings are your content. You choose who can see your library. You let GameDB store and show this content to the audience you select, for as long as it remains on your account.
Do not publish content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, misleading about who you are, or that reveals someone else's personal information. Profiles that break these rules or the Content policy can be reported and may be hidden or suspended by moderators.
Fair use
Do not try to break into accounts or systems, bypass rate limits or security checks, overload the service, or collect data automatically beyond what robots.txt and the public feeds allow. Do not use GameDB to send spam or to harass other members.
Access can be limited or an account suspended if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.
Responsibility
The service is provided free of charge and as it is. As far as the law allows, the operator is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect prices or information, by interruptions, or by decisions made on the basis of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes, law and contact
These terms can change as the service develops. The date above shows the latest version; significant changes are announced on the site before they apply. Swedish law applies.
